1. About these terms

These terms apply when you use this website or ask Akshat Consultant ("we", "us") for accounting and tax services. By sending us an enquiry or sharing your documents, you agree to them.

2. What we do

We provide bookkeeping, GST filing, income tax return filing and TDS services for businesses and individuals. The exact work, and what is not included, is confirmed with you in writing (WhatsApp or email) in the quote before we start.

3. Fees

• We give you a fixed fee in writing before work begins.
• Fees charged by the government or any authority, such as a late fee or interest for a missed due date, are not part of our fee.
• Extra work outside the agreed scope is quoted separately before we do it.

4. What we need from you

• Complete, correct and timely documents and information. We tell you what we need and by when.
• Due dates depend on receiving your documents on time. Late or missing documents can cause late fees or penalties, which are your responsibility.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you give us and for the declarations made in your returns.

5. Confidentiality and privacy

We use your documents and details only for the work you ask for, and we do not sell or share them. See our Privacy page for details.

6. Limits of our responsibility

We prepare and file based on the documents and information you provide. The content of this website is general information and is not advice for your specific case. To the extent the law allows, our liability for any claim about a service is limited to the fees you paid us for that service.

7. Ending the service

You or we may end the service at any time by telling the other in writing (WhatsApp or email). Fees for work already done remain payable. On request we return or delete your documents.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be handled by the courts at Surat, Gujarat.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they were last changed.
